About Us

Our Goal

Our Goal is to unite the community together through the message of the gospel, which brings love, hope, and help to a hurting generation. The United for Christ brand is and always will be inclusive of all students, not just athletes.

Our Vision

Transformation

Our Vision is to see generational transformation by the power of Christ through the influence of teachers, coaches, athletes, and students.

Our Mission

Relationships

Our Mission is to initiate relationships by engaging the staff and students on a frequent basis, so that we may have the opportunity to earn their trust. We desire to cultivate relationships threefold; students and staff, us, and Christ. We will do that by serving them and strategically investing where needed.

Our Method

Leadership

The method we will use as our approach will largely depend upon the school that partners with us. As the leadership of the school allows, we will engage.

Our Reach

On Campus

Our campus ministry is run through sports teams and school clubs. UFC through athletics seeks to partner with the administration, athletic director, and team coaches to seek the best fit for team devotions, snacks and fellowship. We partner with teachers, administrators, and the student body as a whole to provide an optional gathering tiem where students will hear a devotional message from God’s Word, enjoyu time with their peers, and enjoy snacks that are provided as well. We are a twofold ministry. We are an organization committed to working with students off-campus to assist students in leading their own club.

in the community

Our community ministry coinsists of fellow belivers in Christ coming together to worship and to serve our community. We aim to unite this generation for community wide youth nights where youth and adults from the community gather for a night of worship, games, food, and fun! We also organize community service initiatives so that this next generation of leaders can develop their leadership skills as well as deepen their character, and bring awareness to the needs of others.

Student Testimonials

To me, UFC was one of the most important things to happen in my life. Why? Because it turned my life completely around, from being lost and constantly in trouble to being saved and staying on the right path. Without UFC, the current me would not be here. It presented an opportunity that I would not have gotten if not for the UFC program, and that’s having a close relationship with God and living for God instead of for my selfish desires and materialistic things in this current world.

– Jordy Hernendez – 12th grade Lincolnton High School

UFC changed my life completely. Without it, I would have continued to go down the path of living for the world and not God. Through UFC I have found fellowship and a family in Christ. Every day my relationship with God gets stronger and I would have never found my faith if it hadn’t been for UFC. I went from being completely selfish, living for the world, and heading down a dark path to having my life completely turned around because of the UFC program. It has brought my family together in ways I’ve never seen before. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it hadn’t been for UFC; I have learned where my values should be and how to be a child of Christ. I have found God thanks to UFC, and I never want to give that up.
